An Asset To The Greater Brighton Cycle Challenge

BHT has secured a new corporate sponsor for its Greater Brighton Cycle Challenge fundraiser on Sunday 1 July at Preston Park Velodrome.  The company, GRE Assets, specialise in residential development and regeneration in strategic locations across the UK and Spain.

Community Day Improves St Leonards Property

The garden and environment of a block of flats has undergone a facelift thanks to a joint effort by its tenants, the landlord, contractors and a grounds maintenance company.

Volunteers Thanked By The Mayor Of Brighton & Hove During Volunteers Week

Volunteers from BHT, marked Volunteers Week, 1 to 7 June, by attending a reception in the Mayor’s Parlour at Brighton Town Hall. Volunteers were thanked for their invaluable work and each was presented with a certificate by the Mayor of Brighton and Hove, Councillor Dee Simson.

Fancy joining BHT’s Brighton Pride bus?

BHT have hired an open top bus for Pride parade in Brighton on Saturday 4th August. We are offering tenants a chance to help celebrate Pride by joining us on the bus. All those on the bus will be offered an optional reduced entry to Pride. Also, we are looking for four volunteer wheel stewards. Volunteers for this role will gain free entry to Pride in Preston Park. Please let us know by 2nd July. To coincide with Mental Health Awareness Week, (14-21 May), BHT’s Mental Health and Wellbeing Services organised a peer-led Discovery Walk on Thursday 17 May.

Family Urges Everyone To Take A Cycling Challenge To Support First Base

The O’Connell family in Brighton are taking part in the Greater Brighton Cycle Challenge on Sunday July 1 at Preston Park Veldrome, to raise funds for BHT’s critical work at First Base Day Centre.  They are appealing for more families to sign up.

BHT Marks Learning At Work Week

Learning at Work Week is an annual event in May organised by the Campaign for Learning and has taken place since 1999. It aims to put a spotlight on the importance and benefits of learning and development at work.
