New Intern Begins Placement in BHT’s Route One Project

Sasha Oakley began her Intern work placement today at The Route One Project. She will be mentored by Dawn Lancaster.

Sasha will be in the role of Assistant Support Worker / Peer Mentor. The role will support Route One in creating a culture of client participation and involvement that benefits the services diverse client group. It will provide opportunities to gain skills and experience working with vulnerable adults and will develop work place skills that employers are looking for including good communication, organizational skills, event coordination and event promotion.

We wish Sasha all the best for her six month placement.
