During the first half of Interns placements the focus is on on-the-job training and developing employability skills.
In the second half there is a switch with increasing focus on personal and professional development.
Interns attend a series of Personal and Professional Development Sessions aimed at supporting them to maximise their opportunities for employment. Each session has a different focus and at the end of each the Intern compiles their own action plan of things they want to work on to increase employability.
The sessions cover Skills checks, Job searches and Research, CV’s and Covering letters, Applications and Interview skills.No Comments
