Sackville Gardens Project Creates Intern Role

Our Sackville Gardens Project in Hove is the latest to develop an Intern role.

The project which works with 19 BHT clients in five houses supports clients who have experienced mental health problems. Clients are supported and encouraged to develop social and life skills and to maximise their personal potential.

The role developed will create an exciting opportunity for someone interested in gaining skills and experience in support work within the field of mental health and care-work. Our Intern will bring value to the service by assisting us to work directly with clients and help coordinate a variety of activities. She/he will have opportunities to get involved in the planning, organising and completion of activities. There are also opportunities to gain experience in office and administrative tasks.

Our team are really looking forward to working with our Interns, we have seen the real value that people like social work students bring to the service and we are committed to helping people gain the skills and experience that employers look for.
