Location: Brighton
Hours per Week: 2 to 3
Closing Date: Friday 22 June 2018 12.00pm

On Sunday 1 July 2018 BHT is hosting a 12-hour Around the World Cycle Challenge at Preston Park Velodrome to raise funds for BHT’s First Base Day Centre.

We are looking for volunteers to help us on the day in various stewarding and marshalling roles, including participant registration, event safety, donations collection, lap recording and litter picking.

Volunteers will be working together as a team to ensure that participants stay safe and that the event runs smoothly.

The opportunity would suit anyone who is friendly, enthusiastic and enjoys talking to people. Volunteers must be aged 18 years old or over and available to commit to a two to three hours slot between 7am and 8pm. It will be a really enjoyable day and volunteers will be supporting an important local cause.

We also need help on The Living Coast rides, both along the routes and at the refreshment stops. These would suit people with their own transport as most of these positions are outside of Brighton.

To Apply

Please contact Shelley Reed, Event Coordinator, on 01273 645403 or by emailing

Please specify the times that you would be available on the day, and any preferred responsibilities.
