Project Details

Oak House is a 14-bed registered residential recovery service for clients with mental health issues.  Clients reside at Oak House for a period of between 2-5 years. Staff support clients to develop and build on their existing living skills, in order to become more independent and move on to less supported accommodation at the end of their placement.  Staff work in conjunction with other professionals to equip clients with the skills and motivation to become more independent and better able to manage their mental health.

Leyland’s Road is a 6 – bed registered residential recovery service in Burgess Hill for adults with mental health issues.  This is a medium-term residential care home and staff support clients with daily living activities.

In all our services we do not provide personal care but in our residential services you will be expected to administer medication, but full training will be provided.

Mid Sussex Supported Housing – provides accommodation across three hostels to adults within Mid Sussex who have presented as homeless to Mid Sussex District Council or Crawley Council Borough Council. Within this service is a new scheme providing a high-level supported service to a group of 6 former rough sleepers as part of Mid Sussex District Council’s rough sleeper accommodation pathway.

The service is only worked Monday – Friday, 9 – 5 and is not a CQC registered service.

Salary

Our hourly rate is £10.66 per hour Monday to Saturday and for Sundays/Bank Holidays £11.00 per hour.

Residential areas, you will be asked to do a sleep-in shift and payment for this is £50.25 per sleep in.

Rates are inclusive of Holiday pay.

An employer’s pension contribution of 5% is also paid. The level of this contribution is reviewed annually

Hours of Work

You will work as part of a team and as the services are staffed 24/7 you will need to be able to work shifts, this includes weekends / bank holidays and sleep in shifts.
