BHT’s Whitehawk Inn is a friendly community centre providing a range of courses, services and support. Our services are focused on the needs of those living in Whitehawk and East Brighton but we welcome everyone into the centre, to visit or participate in any of our activities.

 

We are looking for a friendly, organised person who will provide a warm and welcoming reception to visitors to the Centre, as well as answer queries in person, on the telephone or by email.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Qualification to at least Level 2 (GCSE A-C grade) in IT, English & Maths
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word and Excel
  • Excellent working knowledge of e-mail and Internet
  • Experience of working in a customer service environment
  • Experience of working in an admin role with both electronic & paper based filing systems

Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent communication skills: face to face, written & on phone
  • Ability to listen and accurately disseminate information
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage own time and prioritise tasks
