The Finance Team are based in the head office in London Road and monitor and report the financial position of BHT. As part of the Finance Team this post will ensure the correct recording of rents and service charges in the Rent Ledger from BHT Clients and Tenants.
The main duties of the post holder will be to input on to the rent ledger all rent receipts, including cash, Housing Benefit, Universal Credit, Adult Social Care, DWP 3rd party payments, GIRO and Standing Orders. They will be responsible for ensuring that payments are allocated and reconciled to the correct resident and rent account. In addition they will provide advice and assistance to Project Administrators in regards to making changes to tenancies on the rent ledger, including start of stays for new residents, change of rooms and end of stays, as advised by the relevant Project.
Person specification – Looking for someone who has strong IT skills which includes the use of computerised ledger systems, Excel, Outlook and Word. The individual should be numerate and methodical, paying attention to the detail. In addition, the individual should enjoy working in a team environment.Closing Date: Friday 27 July 2018 12.00pm
