Human Resources Advisor

  • Permanent
  • 37 hours per week
  • Salary: Up to £28,375 per annum (pending experience/qualifications)
  • Excellent 5.5% employer’s pension contribution (reviewed annually).
  • Based by the sea in the vibrant city of Brighton with hybrid flexible working arrangements available
  • Annual Leave entitlement starts at 25 working days (increasing to 30 days with continuous service) pro rata.

The Human Resources Department delivers a broad and comprehensive HR service to staff, bank cover workers, volunteers and interns, so if you are a team player, have a planned approach with the ability to work pro-actively and autonomously on occasions we would love to hear from you.

For consideration you will require:

  • CIPD Level 3 Certificate or above in HR with a willingness to work towards CIPD Level 5 or equivalent practical experience at HR operational level
  • Current practical knowledge and experience of recruitment and selection methods and best practice
  • Relevant experience and knowledge of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion as it relates to HR and organisations
  • Personable with effective communication and relationship building capabilities across our services
  • To advise and guide support managers with all case management matters relating to employee relations and support our prevention strategies and culture.
  • Working knowledge of various HRIS and how to maximise reporting potential
  • Experience of administering monthly payroll
  • Commitment to continuous personal development
