BHT’s First Base Day Centre operates in the centre of Brighton for the provision of support to assist people who are homeless or vulnerably housed to move on from the streets or insecure accommodation and realise their aspirations.

First Base operates client-centred specialist services to support people to address their healthcare needs, start realising their aspirations through work, learning and leisure and find a place they can call home.

We are looking for Case Worker to help us run this dynamic service.

As a Case Worker, you will undertake a variety of tasks to assist in the day to day running of First Base, ensuring the service is delivered in as efficient and effective way as possible. You will also carry a case load of clients experiencing mental health problems and work to support them in making positive changes.

Candidates should have professional experience of working with people who are homeless or inadequately housed and who experience mental health problems. Candidates should also have experience of completing Client Needs Assessment and Support Planning in a similar or related field.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate a commitment to meeting the needs of adults who are homeless and vulnerable.
