Project/Department Summary

Oak House is a 14-bed registered residential recovery service for clients with mental health issues.  Clients reside at Oak House for a period of between 2-5 years.


Job Summary

Staff support clients to develop and build on their existing living skills, in order to become more independent and move on to less supported accommodation at the end of their placement.  Staff work in conjunction with other professionals to equip clients with the skills and motivation to become more independent and better able to manage their mental health.

As part of your role as a Senior Recovery Worker you will take on responsibility for a lead area, doing staff supervision, being part of client referral process, inducting new staff into the service. Supporting the Operational Manager and Deputy Manager with in the service.

Salary

The salary is paid monthly in arrears and will be £19,047 per annum pro-rata. An employer’s pension contribution of between 3% is also paid. The level of this contribution is reviewed annually.

Can be negotiated.

Annual Holidays

The annual leave entitlement will be 185 hours (25 working days) pro rata, rising 1 day for each year of service to a maximum of 222 hours (30 days) pro rata.  All public bank holidays are granted with two extra statutory days, to be taken over the Christmas period.
