The Big Lottery Fund is investing up to £112 million nationally over eight years to improve the lives of people with multiple and complex needs, by enabling better blended services. As well as supporting people, the funding will evidence more effective and efficient ways for designing, commissioning and delivering support services.

The project operates in Brighton and Hove, Eastbourne and Hastings and is delivered by different delivery partners in each area with BHT being the lead organisation for the South East Partnership.

Brighton Oasis Project is an innovative and creative organisation which aims to improve the lives and maximise the potential of the diverse range of  individuals affected by substance misuse. We are excited to be hosting the Eastbourne and Hastings Fulfilling Lives Teams from April 2017 for 2 years

We are recruiting to 2 new posts to support the work, one based in Eastbourne and one in Hastings

Support Worker x2 – Fulfilling Lives

Full Time 37 Hours


Working as part of a small team the Support Worker will work alongside Fulfilling Lives Specialist Workers in the provision of support to complex needs clients, to identify and overcome barriers to services and engagement. The postholders will work in an empowering way that recognises the skills and experience of the men and women and focuses on building their strengths.

This role contributes to The South East Partnership Fulfilling Lives Project where Big Lottery Fund investment is supporting people with complex needs. The purpose of this initiative is to bring about lasting change in how services work with people with multiple and complex needs.

The post holder will have a track record of working with vulnerable people and be experienced in managing a caseload of complex clients in a calm, professional and enthusiastic way. They will be confident at delivering against agreed objectives and working in a challenging and changing environment. You will be passionate about changing the way services are delivered to people with multiple and complex needs

Closing date for applications is 10am on 28th February

Interviews will take place on 8th March for the Hastings Post and 14th March for the Eastbourne Post
