Phase One is a supported housing project providing twenty-four-hour support to fifty-two homeless men and women with high support needs. The focus of the work of the project is on supporting clients through a process of change using a person-centred approach that empowers service users to make positive choices. Phase One works within a Psychologically Informed framework. You should have experience of working with homeless people and knowledge and experience of working with issues relating to trauma, mental health, substance misuse and the criminal justice system.
We are seeking to appoint a Supported Housing Worker to join our existing team. The Supported Housing Worker will act as a key worker to clients accommodated within Phase One and provide housing support to ensure that licenses are sustained and a range of support needs are met. The post holder will be an integral part of the Phase One team working to achieve the objectives set out by commissioners and BHT’s PIE approach.
Essential requirements for this role are a knowledge and experience of working with homeless clients with multiple needs, the ability to assess support needs, develop and deliver support plans for service users and the ability to work as part of a team. You will be required to work shifts including evenings and weekends for which the enhancement is paid.Closing Date: Thursday 4 October 2018 12.00pm
