BHT would like to thank Revamp Fancy Dress for becoming our charity partner and raising money for us to help homeless men and women across East Sussex.
The fancy dress boutique have chosen us to be their charity partner because they see homelessness all around them in the city of Brighton and Hove and wanted to do something to help.
By becoming an official charity for Revamp, we will have a choice of fancy dress costumes for our volunteers who will be shaking tins in Brighton on 13 December and Santa hats for everyone who will be attending the First Base Christmas dinner this year.
The fancy dress shop will also have a collection tin in the shop to encourage their customers to donate to the charity.
I am utterly shocked by the number of people I see sleeping on the streets in our city and it has made me want to do something to help.
I don’t believe anyone should be homeless. We are a rich country and it is wrong that so many people are forced to sleep on the streets.
Lynette Norris, Revamp Proprietor
It’s great news that Revamp has chosen us as their official charity and we can’t wait to start working with them to raise money for First Base Day Centre.
All the money raised will be used to help homeless, insecurely housed and vulnerable people move on from homelessness towards more positive futures.
