A supporter of BHT’s Whitehawk Inn adult education and resource centre has completed the Ironman Cairns Challenge on 14th June 2015 in aid of the project.

Keith Jackson completed the long-distance triathlon in faraway Queensland, Australia, comprising 2.4-mile sea swim, 112-mile cycle and a marathon in a respectable total time of 16 hours and 7 minutes.

Keith is proud to raise funds for a fantastic resource centre that helps those who have fallen through the gaps in our society and who need a little support to get their lives back on an even keel.

We would like to say a huge thank Keith for taking part and supporting us.

It’s a fantastic resource centre to help those who have fallen through the gaps in our society and need a little (sometimes a lot) of support to get their lives back on an even keel.

The WHINN’s clients are battling against broken education, poor work prospects and social exclusion – but they’ve reached out for help and I’m proud to support the WHINN volunteers who’ve grasped their hand in response when others have already written them off.
