Team BHTThe Brighton half marathon has grown year after year and is now one of the largest running events in the South East with over 10,000 entrants taking the challenge last year.

This year we are proud to have a team of 24 runners all ready to take on the challenge and raise money for BHT.

Team BHT are a mix of supporters, BHT employees and clients.

The team have been meeting regularly to train together and personal trainer and nutritionist Lee Parnell has been on hand to advise the team on their training schedule and to support them along the way.

As a personal trainer it gives me enormous satisfaction to see people achieving their best. I love running and have been taking part in events like the Brighton Half Marathon for over 10 years now.

I am always amazed at how many people give up their time and effort to take part, many of them raising valuable funds for good causes. The opportunity to be involved with the BHT team is a real privilege. To be able to help the team with the training and help a charity that does such important work locally is fantastic.

Liz DaviesWe don’t have long to go now until the big day and everyone is really stating to put the hours in and train really hard.

Running the Brighton Half Marathon is a big commitment and the training is taking up a lot of my time but I am really enjoying the challenge, loving keeping fit and feeling really proud to be raising money for BHT.
