A local group of performers will be presenting the hilarious Eve Ensler’s Vagina Monologues to raise money for two women’s charities.

The Brighton Bushes will be performing on the 31st March to raise funds for Brighton Housing Trust’s Threshold Women’s Counselling Service and the Survivors Network as part of the International Women’s Day celebrations.

The Vagina Monologues is a testimonial of women’s experiences on their journey through sexual discovery. These women share their most intimate desires and fears in a backdrop of humour, heartbreak and sometimes violence.

You can see the Vaginal Monologues at the Sallis Benney Theatre in Brighton on Saturday 31st March where there will be both a matinee performance at 3:30 and an evening performance at 7:30. Tickets cost £7.00 or £5.00 (concession). Please go here to buy your tickets.

We are really excited to be presenting the Vagina Monologues and to be able to raise money for organisations that do such important work for women in Brighton and Hove. Both charities work with vulnerable women and help them to move forward from incredibly difficult experiences and towards more positive futures.
