BHT’s First Base Day Centre has received a donation of £1,420.20 from the Sussex Masonic Charities.
The fund will cover the costs of providing breakfast to men and woman sleeping rough in Brighton and Hove. The money will pay for bread for a whole year.
Freemasonry is second only to the National Lottery in the level of money donated to charitable causes in the UK.

We’re delighted to have received this funding. Having a good breakfast after a night on the streets helps set people up for the day, working on achieving the goals in their move-on plan or joining in one of the many work and learning activities at First Base.
We are very grateful to the Sussex Masonic Charities who operate in East and West Sussex, supporting local charities that benefit the community.
