BHT’s Annual Review 2016 takes the theme of ‘Celebrations and Challenges’, and contains 20 pages of informative research and opinion.

BHT’s feature-packed review includes our Chief Executive Andy Winter highlighting the many celebrations and challenges that BHT has faced in 2016, as well as the results of a research programme undertaken in partnership with Propellernet, on Isolation and Loneliness amongst people who access our services.

This important research focused on clients at three BHT services: Shore House, Addiction Services and Phase One, and sought to measure the impact that isolation and loneliness has on our clients.

Also included is the new BHT Services Guide and Roadmap 2017, a fundraising roundup and BHT financial information, as well as a big THANK YOU to the many generous people and businesses that have helped BHT to help others all year round.

My alcoholism and my depression forced me to a place of loneliness.

There was no pleasure in making plans with friends and family because all I could think about was how long it was going to be before I could go home and start drinking again.
