BHT First Base Fundraisers Set Off On 1,000 Mile Cycling Challenge

First Base fundraisers, Paul Bonett, a long time estate agent and supporter of BHT, and friend Jim Stephenson, are setting off on an extreme challenge on Friday to raise money for First Base Day Centre.

The pair will cycle from North Ronaldsay in the Orkney Islands down to Paris via Brighton, over 1000 miles in 20 days. Paul will also play a round of golf or teach Aikido every other day and then cycle the Brighton to Paris leg in under 24 hours.

The last few days have been a whirlwind of last minute planning, but we now have our final cycling and golf itinerary. We have been doing plenty of training and practice, including getting up at 5am to play 7 holes before work.
