For Ride to Work week cyclists are being asked to ride all or part of the way to work as many times as they can from 12 to 18 March to be entered into an exciting prize draw, with prizes of five European city breaks or one of five £100 vouchers.
Daniel Bianco, BHCC Transport Planner will have a stand promoting transport and cycling in the city, Doctor Bikes will be offering free bike services and repairs and there will be opportunities to find out more about the Brighton Bike Share Scheme.
Last but certainly not least, cyclists will be able to find out more about our Greater Brighton Cycle Challenge taking place on 1 July, which consists of our well-loved Around the World Cycle Challenge and two rides across the Sussex Downs hosted in partnership with the Living Coast.
BHT’s free bike breakfast takes place on Monday 12 March between 8am and 10am at our Head Office at 144 London Road, Brighton, BN1 4PH and aims to help raise awareness of the importance of physical, mental and emotional wellbeing of staff.
Bike week is just one of the challenges taken up by Brighton Housing Trust staff and volunteers throughout the year that supports our wellbeing work culture.
We welcome all cyclists and organisations to pop in to our office at 144 London Road, Brighton – not just for a free breakfast but for an opportunity to network and learn of the valuable resources available in Brighton and Hove to promote and encourage wellbeing within organisations.
