WIN will be run over four years, increasing the confidence and skills of disadvantaged women from Hastings and Rother and empowering them to overcome the barriers they face to employment.

The project will provide a women-only, motivational support service for vulnerable women who are at risk of become marginalised within society, breaking down barriers of fear and lack of confidence which currently prevent vulnerable women from engaging in learning and development.

The WIN programme will run for four years and will employ one worker who will be working in the communities where the women live.

philippa whiteWe are so pleased to have received this funding from the Big Lottery. The programme will support women to identify the many barriers they encounter when accessing work and learning opportunities including both personal and social barriers.

We will provide women with the tools they need to make positive lifestyle choices and changes for themselves. The programme will be easily accessible to excluded women through its personalised outreach service, its safe women-only environment, and a free crèche.
