Join Hullabaloo Quire and O’Hooley & Tidow for a very special concert this Christmas: ‘Winterfolk’.
Songwriters O’Hooley & Tidow’s lyrics span subjects from First World War shell-shock to orphaned elephants, and will be joined onstage by Hullabaloo Quire, one of Brighton’s most innovative and much loved singing communities.
As a natural voice choir, Hullabaloo Quire believe passionately in people’s right to sing together, covering a huge array of songs and genres, from Baroque to Balkan, doo-wop to hip-hop, folk to funk and Eno to Elbow.
They also sing songs from all over the world; songs of protest, passion and celebration, songs to make you laugh and cry.
The evening aims to raise much needed funds for BHT this time of the year.
Why not pop along and support us whilst enjoying a folky, funky, festive evening of beautiful ballads, solstice shenanigans and heavenly harmony?
The event takes place on Sunday 18 December at the Sallis Benney Theatre. Doors open at 7pm with tickets available at £9 each with concessions at £7 per person.
