On the 30 April – 1 May Stephen Fairchild, BHT Handyperson will be undertaking a 65 mile walk around the Isle of Wight to raise money for BHT’s Whitehawk Inn project.
Setting off from Chale on the south side of the Isle of Wight, most of the route will be on coastal paths. Most importantly, the view for the majority of the walk should be spectacular!
Stephen’s first sponsored walk was in 2006 for Oxfam, and he has since completed several walks over the years for a variety of good causes. Each time he’s broken his previous time record and hopes to do the same this time around.
I have always said to myself that I want to raise money for charities I have been either involved with or that have helped me, so this year I chose the Whitehawk Inn as it has not only helped me get on track but I have worked there for the past 11 and a half years and have seen many changes.
