Mayor Opens One of Many Bake 4 BHT Cake Sales

The Mayor of Brighton and Hove, Cllr Denise Cobb, officially opened one of many cake sales that were held across East Sussex last week as part of Bake 4 BHT.

BHT Supporters held cake sales for their friends, family and colleagues to raise money for homeless, insecurely housed and vulnerable men and women.

A cake sale was also held at BHT’s First Base Day Centre where a variety of cakes were donated and sold to fundraise for us.

Liz DaviesI would like to thank everyone who donated a cake to one of the many sales across East Sussex or held a cake sale to raise money for BHT.

Lots of cake sales took place in Brighton and Hove, Eastbourne and Hastings which is brilliant and I hope that everyone who got involved really enjoyed it.

We have raised over £600 so far and we are still receiving donations. Thank you and well done everyone!
