Team BHT was out in force on Sunday to run the Brighton Half Marathon.
The team of 16 runners all completed the 13.1 miles and have so far raised a fantastic £2693.20 for First Base Day Centre.
I found it enjoyable, though difficult in places and my knee struggled after mile five.
I really enjoyed running knowing that we had exceeded our target (nearly doubled it!) and felt proud to be running for BHT
It was nice that some of my closest friends ran with me, and were also committed to raising money for BHT too.
The sun was shining, and it was a great atmosphere, a very memorable day.
Sharon Munnings, Team BHT runner
Brighton pulled out all the stops giving us fine weather conditions for our half marathon challenge.
It was a privilege to run for BHT, who helped us all the way through with training advice, smiles and cheers on the day itself.
Simon Blake, team BHT runner
I can’t thank our runners enough. They have all been so committed to training throughout the wet and cold winter months as well as working hard to exceed their fundraising targets.
