BHT is preparing for its fundraiser for First Base Day Centre with an ’80s Zumbathon challenge.
Update: Online and in-store entries are now closed. Please come along on the night and pay £10 for your entry.
We are searching for fun hearted people who are looking for a new challenge to sign up and get ready for three hours of laughter and fun. The themed dance challenge will take on the style of the eighties with everyone dressing up in legwarmers and wigs to raise money for homeless and insecurely housed men and women in the city.
The Zumbathon will be a test of endurance and stamina but fundraisers will be able to take breaks throughout the session to have a rest or to take a photo in the prop filled photo booth. Free goody bags and discounted ’80s costumes and accessories will be available for every participant.
The BHT ’80s Zumbathon will be held on 25 July from 7pm – 10pm at Moulsecoomb Community Leisure Centre, Brighton, BN2 4PB
All the money raised will go to BHT’s First Base Day Centre; supporting people who are homeless in Brighton and Hove to move on to more positive futures.
There is a registration fee of £8 in advance or £10 on the door. Anyone over the age of 7 can take part but must be accompanied by an adult on the night.

We are really excited about the first BHT Zumbathon and the response so far has been amazing. We are hoping for 60+ people to join us on the day and we are on target for that number which will look brilliant with everyone dressed up in their ’80s costumes.
The idea of the event is to have as much fun as possible which makes it a great event to get involved in with your friends and family. Thanks to Freedom Leisure for supporting this event.
