Universal Credit Advice Service

The Universal Credit Advice Service is a partnership project with Lewes District Council to assist people living in the Lewes District Council area with Universal Credit applications and claims.

It is aimed at tenants of Lewes District Council and anyone who is homeless or at risk of homelessness in the area.  This could include someone with rent arrears who is struggling to pay their rent, or someone who is sofa-surfing and wants to know what help they can get under Universal Credit.

The service can help people to make Universal Credit applications, or help people to resolve problems they are having with their claim. It can also assist with a benefit check to see if you may be better off under Universal Credit.
