Mid Sussex Housing Support
We provide a supported temporary accommodation service in Burgess Hill and Haywards Heath for vulnerable adults who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. All clients are referred directly from the Mid Sussex District Council Housing Needs Team.
Clients are placed for up to 6 months and are supported to gain confidence, maximise income, engage with support agencies, and develop the skills to manage their own homes and move on to longer term secure accommodation.
In addition to the temporary accommodation the service has four flats and two outreach spaces for those that have a history of rough sleeping and require further support. The support is for two years and is focused on enabling people to have the tools to live independently in secure and stable accommodation.
