What we offer
We offer career work placements for adults of all ages which last 12 weeks, giving you a range of work-related skills and valuable experience of being in a workplace.
When you join Routes you’ll have your own dedicated Routes adviser who will be available to help you every step of the way. At Whitehawk Inn, your adviser will be Brodie. Find out more about her and other members of the Routes team.
The Routes journey
There are four steps to the Routes journey:
- Getting to know you – you’ll meet your Routes adviser and set realistic goals
- Creating a plan – you’ll create a plan of action to identify areas to develop
- Getting ready – you’ll complete activities and learning and have regular progress reviews with your adviser
- Getting out there – you’ll receive support around connecting you with work opportunities
What other participants have achieved
Other participants who have finished their Routes journey at Whitehawk Inn have gone on to become: HR assistants, electricians, environmental grants officers, care workers, accountants, baristas and teaching assistants.
The Routes website is packed full of helpful resources about all aspects of getting into work.
