On Wednesday, clients from the Recovery Project volunteered to do a street collection in aid of our Winter Appeal for First Base Day Centre.
The group dressed in their best festive garb, including elf costumes, Father Christmas outfits, tinsel halos and a Snow White dress, and headed to North Street to encourage donations from the generous public of Brighton.
This is the second year that Recovery Project clients have helped with a street collection and is an excellent way to give back to the local community.
After a few hours of spreading festive cheer on North Street, clients collected £150 in cash – an impressive total!
Thank you to the clients and staff for taking time out of your day to support the Winter Appeal for First Base.
