Supported Placements to Achieve and Rally Change (SPARC)

The SPARC programme supports clients and tenants of BHT Sussex with experience of insecure housing or homelessness into supported work placements within our services.

The programme offers 3-to-6-month voluntary work placements, alongside one-to-one support from a workplace mentor and the Programme Co-ordinator.

Placements range from support work to creative projects, and participants will be collaboratively matched with the most appropriate BHT Sussex service for them.

Participants gain valuable skills and experience, job seeking and interview skills, and the opportunity to try out a new area of work. Successful placements could also lead to paid employment within BHT Sussex.
