Routes launches new website to help locals find work

BHT is one of the partners delivering the Routes Careers Programme which offers free, personal support for those needing some help on their journey into employment. Routes has launched a new website to give people who find it hard to get a job a central place to find support – www.routes.org.uk

If you, or someone you know, wants to work but struggles to find something suitable, Routes can help. We’ll support you with free practical help and support you to learn the skills needed to unlock your potential.

With partner organisations around Brighton and Hove and West Sussex, you’ll be able to meet face-to-face with an advisor who can guide you on your next steps towards working.

Browse around the new website to find out:

  • All about Routes
  • If you are eligible for support
  • What a Routes journey looks like and how to begin it

It’s also packed with personal stories from other people who have accessed support from Routes, helpful resources, and information about local career-related events.

Routes has been running since 2016 and is a partnership between Community Works, The Hangleton and Knoll Project, The Workers Educational Association, and Brighton Housing Trust (The Whitehawk Inn). We’re able to offer our services for free thanks to our funders, Building Better Opportunities, a joint programme between the European Social Fund and The National Lottery Community Fund.
