Local mayors honour BHT Sussex volunteers
Volunteers’ Week takes place during the first week of June each year and shines a spotlight onto the millions of people who volunteer across the UK. As part of our celebrations, we co-hosted receptions with the Mayor of Brighton and Hove, and the Mayor of Burgess Hill. At Brighton Town Hall, a number of volunteers, our CEO, David Chaffey, and members of staff were welcomed by the Mayor, Amanda Grimshaw, to the Council Chamber.
