Zero tolerance approach
Our zero tolerance approach extends to:
- Harassment: Unwanted conduct related to a relevant protected characteristic that has the purpose or effect of violating an individual’s dignity or creating an intimidating, hostile, degrading, humiliating or offensive environment for that individual.
- Sexual Harassment: Unwanted conduct of a sexual nature, including unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favours, or other verbal or physical conduct, which has the purpose or effect of creating an intimidating, hostile, degrading, humiliating, or offensive environment.
- Discrimination: Treating someone less favourably because of a protected characteristic they have, are perceived to have, or because of their association with someone who has a protected characteristic.
Reporting concerns
Anyone who experiences or witnesses harassment, sexual harassment or discrimination is encouraged to report it. Reports can be made via our online anonymous reporting form below. When making a report, please provide as much information as possible when reporting alleged instances, to support a thorough and fair investigation.
Monitoring and Data Protection
BHT Sussex records and monitors all reported incidents through the online reporting tool. All personal data will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.
