Solar panel installation underway for BHT Sussex tenants

BHT Sussex is a proud provider of social homes, and we are always looking for ways to help our tenants. To this end we are pleased to report that work is almost complete at Baird House in St Leonards on the installation of high heat retention storage heaters and solar power via Solshare for twenty-four flats. Tenants return to Richard Allen Court following fire

Repair works have been completed at some of our social housing flats at Richard Allen Court in Brighton, following an accidental fire in October 2023. Tenants started to move back into their flats just off Lewes Road over the past two weeks, after being evacuated to alternative BHT Sussex social housing, to stay with family or to rent privately. Following the fire, extensive repair works were undertaken by Packham Construction, as contracted by us. Solar panels fitted to 12 flats at Cashman Lodge

Work is nearing completion on the installation of new cavity wall insulation and solar panels for twelve flats at Cashman Lodge in Hollingbury, Brighton. The work is part funded by a government grant from the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund, which we match funded.
